This is the Seaboard schedule for October 25, 1959.

The Seaboard ran several fine trains with most streamlined.

The "Silver Star" ran from New York to Miami with sleepers from New York to Miami and Washington to Miami, with coaches from Washington and New York to Miami, and a tavern observation lounge from Washington to Miami, and a diner from Washington to Miami.

The "Siver Meteor" ran from New York and Miami and St. Petersburg, Fla. with a P&B car(?), with sleepers from Nw York and Miami and St. Petersburg, Fla, a diner from New York to St. Petersburg, diner from New York to Miami, and coaches from New York to Miami and New York to St. Petersburg. A tavern observation car ran from New York to Miami.

"The Sunland" ran from Washington and Tampa, with connections from Portsmouth, Va., to Raleigh and Jacksonville. The Tampa section was a change of cars at Jacksonville with just a coach running from Washington to Jacksonville and connecting coach at Jacksonville to Tampa. A sleeper ran from Portsmouth to Jacksonville.

"The Tidewater" ran from Jacksonville to Portsmouth and a diner from Jacksonville to Raleigh and Portsmouth. A sleeper ran from Jacksonville to Portsmouth.

The "Silver Comet" ran from New York and Washington to Atlanta and Birmingham. Connections were made with a Portsmouth section that carried coaches and sleepers. Dining service was offered from Washington to Burmingham and a tavern coach ran from New York and Atlanta.

"The Palmland" ran from New York to Miami with coaches from New York to Miami and New York to Hamlet, a diner from Raleigh to Hamlet, a grill car from Hamlet to Jacksonville. Sleeprs ran from New York to Miami and New York to Hamlet.

The "Gulf Wind" ran from Jacksonville to New Orleans with a coach from Jacksonville to New Orleans, SAL diner from Jacksonville to Tallahassee, a L&N diner from New Orleans to Mobile. Sleepers ran from Jacksonville to New Orleans.

Trains #5 and #6-8 ran from Washington to Birmingham with a coach, Birmingham to Hamlet, Hamlet to Washington with a coach. No food or sleepers service on this train.

Train #3 and #4 ran from Washington to Atlanta, and Washington to Hamlet, and a through coach from Atlanta to Richmond and Hamlet to Richmond.

Train #36 and #37 ran as a passenger, mail and express train with coaches from Jacksonville to Flomation and Flomation to New Orleans.

Round trip coach fare from New York to Miami was $80.04.
