This is the Richmond, Fredericksburg and Potomac Railroad Company passenger timetable for December 9, 1937.

The RF&P ran service as a connecting railroad from Washington, D.C. to Richmond, Virginia to and from the Northeast and the Southeast.

There were 20 daily passenger trains in both directions for the RF&P, the Seabord Railroad, and the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad.

Coaches on all trains unless stated otherwise. Trains included were trains #7&8 (via SAL RR) with no coaches, an all-Pullman train from New York to Miami with dining cars, sleepers, lounge and observation cars.

#14 & #15 with coaches from Richmond to Washington, D.C. along with a parlor-dining car.

#16 was a local RF&P train with parlor-coaches from Richmond to Washington.

#23 was also a local train with a through sleeper from New York and parlor-coaches from Washington and Richmond.

#71 & #72 was a New York to Miami train (via the ACL RR) with through sleeping and lounge cars from New York and a sleeper from Washington and Miami, dining service ran from New York to Miami.

#73 & #74 ran (via the ACL) with through sleeping cars New York and Miami, St. Petersburg, Sarasota, Sebring-Ft. Myers, lounge car St. Petersburg; also Boston and Miami, St. Petersburg, Sarasota. Sleepers Washington and Tampa, St. Petersburg. Dining car.
