Photo taken August 12, 2001. This is about half of the depth of the Nomini Church sanctuary. The upper balconies to the left and right, were many years ago used by the black members and previous to then the slaves of the members plantations. Blacks often then outnumbered the white members in those days. Numerous local black churches of this area were "sister churches" of Nomini at one time.
