This is the December 18, 1955 edition of the Missouri Pacific Lines passenger schedule.

The Missouri Pacific ran several good trains one of which is the "Texas Eagle" The "Texas Eagle" ran in two directions, one going to Dallas, Ft. Worth, and the other to Houston, via, I believe, at Longview. The trains consist was sleepers, dining car, coaches, and lounge car. St. Louis to Dallas round trip coach was $30.05.

Other trains include the "Aztec Eagle" which ran from San Antonio to Mexico City, Mexico with sleepers, dining-lounge car, and coaches.

The "Sunshine Special" from St. Louis to Eldorado, Shreveport with sleepers and coaches from Little Rock to Texarkana.

Other trains were the "Southerner", the "Texan", the "Louisiana Sunshine Special", the "Orlean", the "Houstonian", the "Pioneer" and the "Valley Eagle", the "Colorado Eagle", the "Missouri River Eagle", the"Missourian", and numerous number only trains throughout the system.
