This is the June 1, 1944 passenger timetable of the Chicago Great Western Railway Company.

The Chicago Great Western operated in the upper mid-west primarily from Minneapolis to Omaha with a second line to Kansas City and a third line to Chicago.

One of their trains was the "Mills Cities Limited" which ran from Minneapolis , St. Paul, Rochester, Des Moines, St. Joseph,and Kansas City. The equipment consisted of {ullman cars with sections and drawing rooms, a tourist sleeping car an all section car, a Pullman Club-Lounge car, a dining car, and coaches. The train was air-conditioned.

Another train was "The Minnesotan" which ran from Chicago, Dubuque, St. Paul, and Minneapolis. Equipment consisted of a Pullman-Club-Lounge(Chicago-Rochester), Sleeping car(Chicago-Rochester), a diner(Chicago-Rochester), a coach(Chicago-Oetwein), and a coach from Oetwein to Minneapolis. The train was air-conditioned.

The "Nebrask Limited"(southbound), and the "Twin City Limited"(northbound)ran from Minneapolis to Omaha and reverse with a Pullman-Observation-Club-Lounge(Grill service), a 10 section sleeper, and coaches. The train was air-conditioned.

Other trains ran as number trains, some as motor trains.
