There were numerous local trains that ran from Boston to Albany via Worcester and Springfield.

Named trains were:
Train #3, Albany Local Express ran from Boston to Albany as an all stop local between points. Leaving Boston at 5AM, arriving in Albany at 11:50AM. Coaches only.

Train #7, Albany Day Express ran from Boston to Albany. Train #5, New York Express ran from New York to Springfield.

Train #41, ran from New York to Albany.

Train #15,Chicago Special ran from Boston to Chicago as an ALL PULLMAN train.

Train #9,New York Express ran from Boston to New York with various types of passeger equipment.

Train #17,North Shore Special ran on the Boston and Albany from Boston and Albany with through equipment.

Train #11,New York Express ran from Boston to New York.

Train #23,Chicago Express ran from Boston to Chicago.

Train #29, an un-named train ran from Boston to Albany and beyond to some point.

Train #37,Pacific Express>/B> ran from Boston to Chicago with through Pullman cars to the west coast.

Train #13,New York Express ran from Boston to New York.

Numerous other local trains ran through out the rest of the System.
