Insignificantly Yours

Insignificantly Yours

Written 7/15/2003

Bittersweet is the pill, that I now swallow

Where love leads me, I shall blindly follow

I pray to the heavens, that you will not say no

Freedom comes, when you learn to let go

My heart to you, I freely give,

For you I won't die, instead, I'll live

This pill I must swallow, I take in pride

Washed down with tears from this one-way ride

My body and soul once set you on fire

With thoughts of lust, love, and desire

Now it is only, one kiss at the door

I know it is pointless to hope for more

Unleashed at night, wild and free

Your desire a monument, of lust for me

I will never forget the feel of your heat

Pulsing ecstasy, it spilled out on the sheet

My heart I gave you for all this time

It shall now bleed love's bittersweet wine

Once full of love, now full of sorrow

I wish I could wake up free of pain tomorrow

The sun will set, the sun will rise

In loves ravages I can tell no lies

As eternal as the surf pounding the shores

I shall always be, Insignificantly Yours
