"Dudu" de Araujo Filho

Boss

Eduino "Dudu" Eustaquio de Araujo Filho
(2004-present)

The latest in a long line of Brazilian drug lords to demonstrate a profiency in the art of prison escapes. Following his escape from a Brazilian prison where he was serving a 30 year term for drug crimes, Filho returned to the Rocinha shantytown where he grew up and returned to business tranforming his drug operation into a para-military force which engaged in a bloody turf war with a rival group led by Luciano Barbosa da Silva for control of Rochina. The battle initiated by Red Command leaders after da Silva aka Lulu failed to co-operate with the groups leaders. Filho's capture in January 2005 came a week after the murder of Lulu effectively ending the brief yet bloody war.

Government officials claim to have kept the 33 year old kingpin under close watch for at least 3 months before moving in to breakup the drug war which claimed at least 20 lives.
