Luis Fernando da Costa
"Fernandinho Beira Mar"

(1996-present)
In the seedy world of narcotics trafficking, the name of Fernandinho Beira evokes violence unseen since the death of Pablo Escobar. Beira Mar combines the violent tendencies diplayed by Escobar with the flashy life style of John Gotti.

Reknown for his ties to Columbia's FARC, Beira Mar rose to power trading guns for cocaine with the rebel group. In exchange for his financial support, the rebels lent their support to his operation by protecting his clandestine labs setup deep in the heart of the Columbian jungles.

Initially thought of as a junior partner of Columbia's powerful and long established Cartels, Beira Mar has emerged over the past year as a power in his own right. This was demonstrated when from his prison cell he orchastrated an attack which slaughtered his rivals both inside and out on the streets of Brazil in a simultaneous attack which left him unchallenged in the Brazilian underworld. So brazen was the attacks that it seemingly left Brazilian authorities stunned as the pint sized godfather cockily swaggered through the prison hours after the blood bath recieving homage from his legion of followers.

In addition to his business dealings, Beira Mar's social life has also been the subject of media scrutiny when he openly propositioned jailed latin singer Gloria Trevia last year. Prior to this incident, Elisette Da Silva was arrested for assisting her alledged husband run his operation. Turns out that Beira Mar was also married to a woman named Jackie Alcantara with whom he appeared in several publications holding two small children. Ah, the life of a don.
