| Photo # 17: A storm was approaching as is evidenced by the darker swollen clouds in the background (The storm was actually over Incline Village on the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe). The peak in the background might be Lyon Peak. |

| Photo # 23: An assortment of pretty wildflowers among the granite boulders. (this is one of my favorite photos from the ~50 I took). On the return trip I saw a coyote in this section and some quail. |

| Photo # 25: Watson Monument at the top of the Pass, with Lake Tahoe in background. The storm (over the NE part of the lake) produced a wonderful display of lightning bolts accompained with roars of thunder. There were still a few patches of snow scattered around. |
