On the far right hand side of photo, the edge of Salton Sea is visible.
Photo #33:  The Salton Sea, along with the Anza Borrega Desert and  Imperial Valley, make-up  the Salton Trough-- one of the geological regions of Southern California.   The Salton Sea is actually larger that Lake Tahoe.
