Photo #20: The small lake along the Big Laguna trail appeared about a mile after leaving Penny Pines aidstation. Paul had mentioned that the lakes would actually have water in them since it had rained earlier in the week.
Photo #21: This photo was taken after leaving Penny Pines aidstation enroute to Pioneer Mail.  The runner ahead of me was a local Southern CA runner named Mark.
Photo #22:   The section between Penny Pines and Piooneer Mail went through an area that had been burned a year earlier in the Cedar Fire.
Photo #23: There was a climb along an exposed area leaving Pioneer mail aidstation.   Mark is the runner ahead of me in the photo.
Photo #24: A view down into the Anza Borrega from the right side of trail.
Photo #21: The larger lake (Big Laguna lake?) was about a 0.5mi or so later , but before the turnoff for the campground.
