This journal covers about 28 years of world wide travel. Some destinations I visited just once, others many times but all were unforgettable.
I started my vacation in New England and headed down the coast into South America, then east to the Mediterranean through the Suez, Red Sea and into the Indian Ocean, from there up into "The Gulf". At a later date we left Philly, southbound around the tip of South America on up the coast and across the Pacific back to the gulf. This completed my circumnavigation of the globe. There were numerous trips to other destinations along the way including the Arctic circle and crossing the equator twice. Obviously there were numerous stops along the way which brings me to this journal.
I spotlight the obvious places that most people look into visiting and the not-so-obvious places that the casual traveler doesn't even think to try. I've added links to just about all the countries along with helpful observations for the newbies contemplating some serious travel. There's also some photos which I change from time to time. You may or may not like them but they're my pictures and this is my site so sit back, take a break from reality and enjoy!.
I also make personal observations about do's & don'ts, local customs etc. I wasn't enamored with every place I went but had few disappointments. Overall I wouldn't trade my life or experiences for anyones, anytime, anywhere, anywho. The Lord has been very good to me and I wish the same fortune on others. |
