Opal was born and raised in Israel. Her birthday is September 6. At the age of 15, her and her family moved to the United States - just before the Gulf War started. Once in the United States, Opal attended Taft High School in Woodland Hills, California. Three years later, following in her older brother Ofir's footsteps, she became a Ford Model and started acting commercially. Opal then landed a few acting roles, including an episode of the television series Baywatch and she co-starred on Beverly Hills, 90210, Dangerous Minds, and Hangtime. She also had a small part in the movie "The Birdcage" before landing her 5-month spot on ABC's "Port Charles" as Arianna Shapour Thornhart. Since she is of Ashkenaz decent, Opal is fluent in Hebrew, and speaks this language when she's with her family, whom she's very close with. Some of her hobbies besides being with her family and friends, include putting together jigsaw puzzles, reading, and listening to classical music. She also loves candles, Kiehl's lotion, and pizza! Opal is also interested in helping women's organizations worldwide!
