Never Never Never Give Up! - WInston Churchill

You know when I was a kid; I remember thinking about 2000 ... how far away it was and how old I'd be ... now talking about 2006 ... wow.

I am honored to have made it so far on what has been an amazing journey.

The older I get the more I learn I am the one responsible for my own happiness … back in late ’99 and early 2000 … I had so much and relatively very few problems, but somehow it wasn’t enough.

The last few years have been anything, but easy … however I have learned I have no choice but to press on … I think of my life the as kind of like the way the world was feeling in this political cartoon from June 30, 1942 .

I even started a Blog, but it didn't go too far ... if you'd like to take a look, here is the link;

The last few years have also taught me to live more in the moment than in what could be or what should have been.

The joy of hearing my son laugh … having my wonderful daughter Kylee actually ask for my advice … how nice it is to have a great relationship with my sister Alison and share our worries and joys, watch Zane have so much fun with his Uncle David.

From outward appearances it might seem hard to believe, but I think I’m happier now than at any point in my life.

Sure the challenges are much bigger, but that just means the joy will be all that much greater when they are overcome.

I am richly blessed and I thank you for taking a few moments to read this.

Yeah, yeah, yeah ... I know that line has been there for quite a while and I keep meaning to get some new pictures on line. I've got some great new ones ... I know this once upon a time this was quite a web site ... but those were the days when life was a little simpler.

Funny, back in '99 I thought I had problems ... if only, yeah, if only I knew then what I know know ... but isn't hindsight always 20/20?

Just know I am doing the best I can for myself and my two great kids Kylee and Zane.

As the days and weeks go by, maybe I'll try outline some of the struggles that I'm dealing with and also some of the highlights.

Life is always an adventure!

Thanks for stopping by and I really do plan on the having some new pictures on line ... hopefully by Philles opening day? Check back, in the meantime, always happy to hear from you ... kirk@KirkClyatt.com

Now I've got to back to work to find out when spring will actually start to feel like spring.
