So you have a personal computer, right?...Now what are you going to do with it?

Most likely, you will want to take advantage of the Internet and all the different capabilities it offers, such as information search engines, email, web publishing, and just the general ability to connect up with information, places, and people across the globe that might be harder to do otherwise. Perhaps you plan to connect with other people in your school or workplace. Perhaps you enjoy playing video games together or against each other, so you would like to all hook your computers together to do so.
