History
Quillian are a smaller cousin to the Rinya~Lo, with very different looks. Unlike Rinya~Lo, Quillians have no feathers on their head, but have them on their tails. They are also elaborately colored with gradients and rainbows. These realtives are playful and almost like a shadow if you are lucky enough to befriend one. They have small raptor bodies with bird beaks and legs. Most are sold at the Eastern Isle Market.
Coloring
Quillians are brightly colored. Gradeints are the most common color, and they can range to almost infinity combinations. Some Quillians have stripes or markings, but usually not. Feathers are colored in one color, or a gradient of two. It is rare to have gradeint feathers.
Naming
Quillian are sold in themed batches, each is different, and most Quillian have a marking(s) relative to their batch. Depending on the batch, Quillian are named as following: 'color on quillian' 'quillian's specific theme' 'word ending in ing'. The shortened version is usually used, and go as follows: First two letters of each category separated by a comma. So if you had a purple and red grradient Qillian with a grape vine marking(from a food themed batch), you might name it Ruby Melon Singing. With a shortend name as Ru'Me'Si. If the Quillian doesn't have a theme, substitute the middle section for a word relative to the Quillian. So if you have a nonthemed grey and blue Quillian, you might name it Grey Rain Falling, or Gr'Ra'Fa.
Extended Breeding
All Quillian can breed with another of the opposite gender unless those two are related in any way. (Half siblings, full siblings, etc.)When extended breedings are avaliable at the market you may sign up for a clutch of Quillian. More information is found on the Miscellaneous page.
Herding and Pairing
Quillian form groups called Circles. Circles mainly consist of two to four males and three to six females. This may vary by Circle, but there will always be more females than males.
Habitat/Food
Quillian can live almost anywhere(exept under water), though they do prefer forests or protected areas with lots of running space. They eat small insects, fish, and certain fruits. If no food of thistype is found, they may resort to seeds, berries, and nuts.
