You walk quickly after the violet cat, trying to match his now swift pace. Trees seem to stretch on and on as he leads you through a winding trail. Suddenly you take a turn and enter a large clearing. In here are multiple cats, including the lime and orange-black females from the plains. there are also many others of multiple colorings. They all look up in surprise, but seeing it is just you and accompanied by one of them, they go back to what they were doing. Your guide motions for you to look around, so you begin by going up to the closest cat, who happens to be a blue male with periwinkle swirls. He looks curiously at you, an indignant gleam in his eye.  He looks at the others, then walks away to sun on a rock, still looking at you curiously. The next cat comes to you, a tan cat with red markings on her feet, ears, tail, and wings. She nudges your leg with her forehead, then sits and looks up with the closest you could come to a smile. Another female, bright pink in color, walks up arranging he gem-like wing feathers.  The tan cat paws playfully with the pink one's horns and soon they are faux fighting eachother in the moss and grass. Rolling over and over you can't help but laugh at their kitten-like antics. A white male flies in through the trees over your head, then circles and lands next to you. He adjusts his metal colored wings and they reflect light into your face.  His paws, bright blue in color, stand stiff and still as if he was a soldier, but seeing your gaze he relaxes and sits in the warm sun. Next to him walks up a beautiful twilight blue female. Her coat patterned with stars is long and glimmers like tiny diamonds.  She scratches the end of her back, near the appolusa coloring and nudges the white cat with a small purring sound. They both walk away, leaving you alone now. You see the beginning of a new trail leading off into the forest, and you take it away... Background from Infinite Fish |
