The page you see here is Nephyr; the online personal art gallery for Jen Curtis/Only1jc. Here's where you can view pictures that I've drawn and/or colored. But you've probably already figured that out!

Nephyr originated by a mixing of the words "Nephrite" (a green gem supposedly able to cure kidney diseases.. o.O;;;) and "Zephyr" (warm, westward breeze). So, basically, welcome to Green Breezes. It's constantly being updated at a rate of 1 TITMOUSE (Time It Takes Me to Outline Update and Specifically Enance) per art.

My tools of use are:

Pencils of various type and shade
Paper of any kind
Erasers- lots of them!
2 Sakura Gelly Roll medium ink pens
1 HPScanJet 3300C *cough-evil-cough* scanner
24 Prismacolor markers Warm Gray and Rainbow
Various colored pencils
Paint Shop Pro 7
Anything else I can get my hands on

I sometimes use different mediums, but it's usually paper and pencil and whatever I feel like coloring with. It takes me anywhere from 1 to 7 days to design pieces, and indeffinitely to color them.

The layouts are more difficult and hard to come up with. I have to work with sizes and differences of resolution from one comp to the other, and often times it means more work for me. I try and please everyone, though, so inspire me! (Please?)

The current layout in Nephyr are:
       Version 1.3- Golden Summer
Fonts used- Goudy Old Style/Book Antigua, Hansa
Designed in- Paint Shop Pro 7, Prismacolors
       By- Only1jc
       Available?- Nope
       Resolution- 1152 x 864 pixels per inch
       Date created- May, 2003

There are two past layouts, which you can view below. The reason of three very different versions of #1 is that I began by making two versions for two resolutions. This took up so much space, and so much time, that I finally decided to use frames a make a totally new version. Hopefully I never have to waste my time like that again.

    Version 1.0- Wandering: March, 2003
Version 1.1- Portland Pines: April, 2003

As you can see, some of these deserve to be trashed, and others were just up for long enough. The sites always changing, so be sure to check back soon and you'll prolly see another layout!
