Series Description
Sailor Moon is an anime show about a team composed of 5 young girls with special powers(kinda like the power puff girls except not as annoying). The leader of this group, known as the "Sailor Scouts" is the one and only Sailor Moon (See Character Profile), who is (logically) the most powerful of the five(even though she reigns as major klutz and crybaby.)
At the beginning of the first series Sailor Moon fights alone accompanied only by her magical talking cat, Luna. Later on, however, she comes to meet 4 other Sailors. These 5 become the best of friends(see character profile). Together their mission is to protect earth from the evils of the "Negaverse", whose main objective is to steal energy from earthlings. Tuxedo Mask (a guy that all the sailors seem to have a crush on) also pops in on every episode (outta nowhere...kinda annoying) to help them.
Later on the 5 sailors or "senshis" learn that each of them were princesses of their own repected planets (of course u know which planets judging by their sailor names). After the "princesses" have defeated Queen Beryl (queen of the Negaverse) in the first series, they go on to battleing Anne and Alan(Aliens), the five Negaverse sisters (is that what they call themselves?) along with Rubious, and then Prince Daimond and his minions.
My Opinion
Well, even though I think Sailor Moon is lame now, I'm not gonna diss it b/c it's what started it all (my obcessive interest in anime, that is). I gotta say after watching the series for so long things begin to get annoying (like the Sailor Scouts...especially Sailor Moon's loooong transformation sequence, and Sailor Moon's lame speech that she makes every episode...you know, the one about love, and justice...real fans of Sailor Moon should've memorized it by now). But overall I think that it's a good anime show...it sure is popular(even though it was originally geard mainly towards kids).

Story Line-Very interesting...but slow paced. Ah, well I'll give it a 5 anyways.
Animation-Pretty Sailors. 4
Character Development-Good, but it seems Sailor Moon never manages to mature. 3
Enemies-Not very creative...all the enemies seem to be women with very revealing outfits. 3
