THE OMAHA CLOGGERS INC.
The Omaha Cloggers, directed and taught by Tona Knipp, formed in 1979 and were the very first clogging club in the state of Nebraska.  The club was founded by Tona's parents, Linda and Tom Knipp who directed & taught for 26 years.

The club boasts of four first place winners in the Midwest Clogging Competition and Championships in Avoca, Iowa.  The competition has entrants from five states, and the club placed in four of the top five awards one year.

Exhibitions have been performed as far west as Denver, and as far east as Chicago.  Other exhibitions include nursing homes, retirement homes, hospitals, and local events; such as Omaha's River City Roundup, state and county fairs, etc.

The club has no lesson or membership fees, so anyone wanting to dance invest only their time.  If a dancer peforms at lease 50% of the exhibitions a year, they receive their costume fabric free.

All in all, we are a fun loving group that enjoys what we do.  We try to serve the community by entertaining seniors and the elderly, and also dance to keep the old-time are of clogging alive.
