Speakers Corner

Speakers Corner is a forum for your ideas and opinions, expressed by the public at "video-recording kiosks". These comments are used (by themselves) in the newscasts and also in a weekly 30 minute program called "Speaker's Corner -the show" which aired Saturday afternoons at 6:30PM on WSMV-TV Nashville (NBC - Ch4).

I worked on developing the "Speaker's Corner" concept for Nashville from scratch in July 1999 up until the forum was well established and running smoothly in August 2000.

I was not only the developer and producer but also the editor for both the daily batches of clips as well as the weekly MOS driven 30 minute show.

CFN - Consumer Financial News

I co-created the CFN concept as a spin-off from the Point of Purchase application in Excelevision.

CFN is the first and only television news network designed specifically for customer environments within financial institutions.

It is fashioned after popular cable news networks, the programming focuses on consumer interests and needs like saving, earning, managing and protecting their financial assets.

Commercial messages between the short news clips provide a powerful new sales channel for products and services.

The network is viewed on TV screens located throughout the branch and heard on overhead speakers. Its content is delivered fresh on a regular basis using satellite, the internet, or DVD.

I created the CFN website. See it here.
