Yahoo Jargon
One of our favorite newcomers once saw a message at the table that said simply "lol". After struggling for some time to figure it out, he asked what it meant. To his relief he was told "laughing out loud" and not as he had feared "leave our lounge". This page is dedicated to Colinsmith_ie and anyone else having problems figuring out the Yahoo acronyms. Anyone who comes up with others they feel should be posted, please send me an e-mail OldYank@Yahoo.com and I'll add it right away.

CAPS |
Typing in caps is considered shouting and is rude. In tournaments, the directors type in caps to make their instructions stand out. This of course is not rude. |
