The Jungle

    As you wonder the Palace grounds once again, you see to the southeast of the palace, a densly wooded area.  You walk in, and find that it is a jungle.  It is hot and humid, combined with the sun, it's very unpleasant.  You're very glad when a cool breeze moves by and you decide to walk around the area, hoping to find a pony to talk to.  Everywhere you look there are palm trees and tropical flowers.  You see an extraordinarily beautiful plant with a long green stalk and huge pink bloom, you walk over to examine it.  Just then, ou see a flash of yellow moving behind some plants.  Startled, you hurry towards the place you saw it. 
    Suddenly, a yellow pony with floresent hair bolts out from behind the trees and runs at full speed.  You quickly decide to follow her, and start running.  You catch glimpses of the pony behind trees, and you notice that she's slowing down.  Then, she stops in her tracks just as quickly as she had set off.  She looks at you with wide staring eyes, as if to see if you are safe to talk to.  You can now see from her symbol that this is Tootie Tails. 
    "Hello," you say walking slowly near her.  
    "A-are y-you the h-h-human?" she asks in a very shaky voice, obvioulsy frightened.  You smile, and nod.  CRASH! Startled, both you and Tootie Tails whip around to see Hula Hula stumble over a fallen palm tree. 
    "Tootie Tails!" she pants as she comes running up.  "Something awful has just happened!  Pina Colada and Baby Palm Tree were walking around exploring, and Baby Palm Tree got lost!  We've been looking all over for her and it's no use.  Oh, Tootie Tails, you've just got to help!" Hula Hula never seemed to notice you.
    "Ehemm!" you say clearing your throat.  "Perhaps I could help too!"
    "Oh," Hula Hula exclaims.  "I didn't realize you were there! But, I guess you could... maybe you and Tootie Tails could go together?  Pina Colada is in a terrible state, blaming herself and saying she didn't watch Baby Palm Tree close enough.
    "I suppose we can," Tootie Tails turns to you, seeming noticably bolder now.  Hula Hula smiles. 
    "Good, I have to go tell Sea Breeze now.  Bye!"  she hurries off through the flowers and trees.
    "Well, we've got nothing to loose," says Tootie Tails.
    "The lease we can do is help look for her!" you say.  As the two of you begin your search, she apologizes for being afraid of you at first.
    "I guess I'm just shy by nature," she says.  You explain how it is okay, you get it a lot, most ponies are scared of you at first, and you both continue on your quest.
    "Maybe we should go check out the waterfall," Tootie Tails suggests. "I know she likes to play there."  Since this is the first time you've been to the tropics, you have no clue where baby ponies like to play so you follow Tootie Tails.  You both head towards the waterfall and soon see a clearing where a beautiful, sparkling river falls into a clear pool below.
    "BOO!"a voice says behind you.  Startled, you jump in the air.  Turnin around, you see a hot pink baby pony, and immediately know it's Baby Palm Tree.
    "Did I scare you?" she giggles.  You nod.  Laughing, you call Tootie Tails, who is on the brige over the falls.  She comes running, and smiles with relief.
    "Thank you SOOO much for finding her!!" she gushes. 
    "Well, really, she found me!" you explain how she scared you and Tootie Tails laughs.
    "Well, anyway, I might not have found her if it hadn't been for you."   The three of you make your way back, and soon meet up with Hula Hula, Sea Breeze, and Pina Colada, who are still searching for the baby.
    "You found her!" squeals Pina Colada and basically plows you over getting to Baby Palm Tree.  Tootie Tails tells the others how you found her and they all smile.
    "How can we ever repay you?" asks Pina Colada, overcome with happiness.
    "Think nothing of it!" you say.  "After all, what are friends for?"
    "Yes," agrees Tootie Tails. "Even human friends!"
    You reluctantly tell the Tropical Ponies you better be getting back.  The ponies yell their farewells and you wave goodbye.

Yes, people, this ingenious creation was also done by none other than Tootsie Tails... she deserves all the credit!  She even was kind enough to supply me with a custom pic of Tootie Tails!  How nice can ya get!  Be sure to not take the pic of Tootie Tails she made, she worked really hard on it!!!!
