The Beach

   You look outside your window and can see the beach.  You decide that it is a lovely day out and it would be nice to have a picnic.  You rush downstair to go pester Lickety Split about packing you and perhaps Magic Star a lunch and it works.  You wander aimlessly about the palace and palace grounds to find Magic Star and you finally do. 
   "Oh I'd be absolutley delighted to go with you!" she says after you tell her your plan.  You both head out to the beach.  You spread out the blanket and start unpacking lunch.  As soon as you take your first bite of sandwhich, you hear a clipity-clop of hooves.  A very peeved looking yellow-orange pony with sudsy blue hair comes up and curtsies sloppily saying, "My Lady, this abnoxious sea pony keeps bugging me while I wash my hair." 
    "Come come now Bubbles, what could Surfdancer be up to now?" asks Magic Star sincerely.
    "She keeps splashing me," she says in a very annoying whiney voice.  Just then a pink sea pony with blue hair shoots out of the water and sprays a mouth full of water at Bubbles.  Bubbles screams and charges at the sea pony.  The two are now tumbling in the water yelling at one another.  Magic Star gets on her feet and yells, "Girls!  I order you to stop this instant!"  At once Bubbles lets go of her tight pin on Surfdancer and shakes off and runs back to the palace looking very harrassed..  Surfdancer is left floating in the water, looking very angry.
   "Surfdancer, I'm very disappointed in you," says Magic Star.  "I want you to appologise to Bubbles when she comes back tomorrow to wash her hair."
    "Yes, your Highness," Surfdancer says glumly.  While you and Magic Star walk back to the palace, you pay no attention to her endless appologies...because, personally, this was the most exciting time you've had since you arrived at Rainbow Palace.
