Plot:  Janeway and her crew continue to ally themselves with the Borg in order to defeat the notorious Species 8472 in exchange for save passage through Borg space.  However, the Borg are unpredictable and may turn against the Voyager crew.

Some trivia:

* This episode sees the debut of the new regular Jeri Lynn Ryan as the Borg Seven of Nine.
* There was originally going to be a reference to the Borg Queen's death (as seen in "First Contact") in this episode as a way of tying in the events of the movie with the Borg's defeat by Species 8472 but the idea was dropped as the producers realised that some fans may not have seen the movie by the time this episode aired.
* The actors playing Annika Hansen and family return in "The Raven"

Memorable scenes:

* Any scenes with Seven of Nine -- Jeri Ryan makes her mark in the series as a wonderful actress.
* The scenes between Janeway and Chakotay as it's great to seem them having 2 very different opinions of the alliance with the Borg.

My comments:  Definately one of the best endings to a 2-part episode!  It was full of action and really captured my attention! As for the new addition to the Voyager cast, Jeri Ryan is a splendid actress who brought her character to life. Perhaps the only shame is that Species 8472 were defeated a little too easily. They would have made formidable enemies. Despite this, it is a brilliant season opener and a must-see episode!
