"For a brief time, I was human. But I've come to realise that I am Borg. I will always be Borg."
(Seven)

Plot: Whilst the crew try to negotiate a path through Bomar space, Seven believes that she has been summoned by the Borg and escapes on a shuttle. Along with Tuvok, she learns about her past and her life before assimilation.

Guest cast:

David Anthony Marshall ("Magnus Hansen")
Nikki Tyler ("Erin Hansen")
Erica Bryan ("Annika")
Mickey Cottrell ("Dumah")

Some trivia:

*
This episode was originally titled "Resurrection".
*
Mickey Cottrell also played Chancellor Alrik in TNG's "The Perfect Mate."

Memorable scenes:

*
The scene where Seven is attempting to work with clay is rather good.
*
Seven's first meal was quite amusing.
*
The scenes between Seven and Tuvok are quite good as the 2 characters seem to have some chemistry.

Some quotes:

"Oral consumption is inefficient."
"And unnecessary if you're lucky enough to be a hologram."

(Seven and the Doctor)

My comments:  I liked this episode. It gave a lot of back story on Seven's past and it offered Jeri Ryan another opportunity to show off her acting talents. The only faults with this episode are the very dull Bomar aliens and the rather big continuity error, as it seems that the Hansens were studying the Borg before they were known to the Federation! Anyway, it's still a good watch.
