2H.P. Novo Fluted Hopper
Serial #AG25507 - 1931
I picked this up at an auction this past weekend. I have never seen an engine like this with the radiator-like water hopper. I don't have positive ID on it yet, but did get an opinion that it is early 1930's, possibly late 1920's. As you can see, this engine is totally enclosed. The magneto is a fairly modern type with points and condensor much like what you would find in a modern engine. I have no idea yet if this color and decal are original. Research to follow! One of the first things is to figure out how to crank this engine over. There is no place for a rope, no is there an obvious crank spot (you'd need a really small crank if you did hook it onto the gib key).
