In the Footsteps of A Pervert Missionary

We have shown in our previous rebuttals how the Christian missionary, Sam Shamoun, distorted and perverted an innocuous Qur’anic passage and Prophetic tradition. Now it is our turn to show the result of this attitude toward the Christian Scripture itself. We are going to display examples of how a pervert missionary can object to and criticize Jesus (peace be upon him) and his disciples.

In the Gospel according to Luke  …
“For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine; and ye say, He hath a devil. The Son of man is come eating and drinking; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners!” (Luke 7:33-34)

Obviously, wine is the source of all evils, very ugly in the eyes of God and a way of misguidance and loss. Drinking does not suit pious people for it causes loss of mind to its drinker whether he is a prophet or not. This is the reason why God prohibited it for Aaron and his descendants who wanted to join the Service of God. He made it a cause of death and its prohibition an eternal covenant,

And the LORD spake unto Aaron, saying, Do not drink wine nor strong drink, thou, nor thy sons with thee, when ye go into the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations.
(Leviticus 10:8-9)

This is the reason why angel of the Lord prohibited for Manoah drinking wine or any strong drink during pregnancy in order that her child becomes pious,

Now therefore beware, I pray thee, and drink not wine nor strong drink, and eat not any unclean thing.
(Judges 13:4)

And the angel of the LORD said unto Manoah, Of all that I said unto the woman let her beware. She may not eat of any thing that cometh of the vine, neither let her drink wine or strong drink, nor eat any unclean thing: all that I commanded her let her observe.
(Judges 13:13-14)

Also, when the angel gave Zechariah glad tidings of John’s birth, he mentioned that among criteria of his piety is his abstention from wine and strong drink,

For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb.
(Luke 1:15)

This is why Isaiah condemned wine and drink and declared that prophets and priests went astray because of drinking,

Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:
(Isaiah 5:22)

But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.
(Isaiah 28:7)

We all know that Noah drank, lost his mind and got naked (Genesis 9:20-25). And Lot drank, lost his mind and did with his daughters what we have never heard of regarding alcoholics (Genesis 19:30-38).

In the Gospel according to John  …
He riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself. After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded.
(John 13:4-5)

Ahmad Faris Ash-Shidyaq, an ex-Christian writer who embraced Islam, sarcastically comments,

This indicates that Jesus at this time was so drunk that he could not realize what he was doing since washing of feet does not necessitate taking off garments.

  Solomon said regarding wine,

Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright. At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder.
(Proverbs 23:31-32)

In the Gospel according to Luke  …
And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee's house, and sat down to meat. And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment, And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment. Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner. And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on. There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty. And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most? Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged. And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, Seest thou this woman? I entered into thine house, thou gavest me no water for my feet: but she hath washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head. Thou gavest me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in hath not ceased to kiss my feet. My head with oil thou didst not anoint: but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointment. Wherefore I say unto thee, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loveth little. And he said unto her, Thy sins are forgiven. And they that sat at meat with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgiveth sins also? And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.
(Luke 7:36-50)

Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha. (It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.) Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick. When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby. Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus.
(John 11:1-5)

This Mary whom Jesus loved (what kind of love exactly was Jesus preaching?) is the one who anointed and wiped feet of Jesus.

In the Gospel according to John  …
When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me. Then the disciples looked one on another, doubting of whom he spake. Now there was leaning on Jesus' bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved. Simon Peter therefore beckoned to him, that he should ask who it should be of whom he spake. He then lying on Jesus' breast saith unto him, Lord, who is it?
(John 13:21-25)

This disciple is repeatedly mentioned that Jesus loved him (John 19:26, 20:2, 21:7 and 21:20). Our sarcastic ex-Christian writer comments on the statement of John that “there was leaning on Jesus' bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved” that,

….  like the woman who aims at something from her lover, so she flirts with him.

In the Gospel according to Luke  …
And it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and shewing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God: and the twelve were with him, And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils, And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance.
(Luke 8:1-3)

Gathering and mixing of young men with young women is a serious situation that expectedly leads to lewdness, especially our man was young, unmarried and alcoholic while the woman was a desired prostitute who accompanied him everywhere and served him with her money and self. We all know the story of David whose one look to a strange woman led him to what we all know although he was over fifty and had so many wives (2 Samuel 11:1-27). Also, the story of Solomon whose women led him astray and made him a pagan apostate after he was a pious prophet (1 Kings 11:1-11). We see Solomon after his personal experience, that of his father and mother (2 Samuel 11:1-27), that of his brother Amnon and sister Tamar (2 Samuel 13:1-22) and that of his ancestors Reuben (Genesis 35:22) and Judah (Genesis 38:6-30), we see him emphatically warns against gathering with strange women,

My son, attend unto my wisdom, and bow thine ear to my understanding:
That thou mayest regard discretion, and that thy lips may keep knowledge. For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil: But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword. Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell. Lest thou shouldest ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, that thou canst not know them. Hear me now therefore, O ye children, and depart not from the words of my mouth.
(Proverbs 5:1-7)

And why wilt thou, my son, be ravished with a strange woman, and embrace the bosom of a stranger?
(Proverbs 5:20)

To keep thee from the evil woman, from the flattery of the tongue of a strange woman. Lust not after her beauty in thine heart; neither let her take thee with her eyelids. For by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread: and the adultress will hunt for the precious life. Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned? Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned? So he that goeth in to his neighbour's wife; whosoever toucheth her shall not be innocent.
(Proverbs 6:24-29)

Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth. Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths. For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her. Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.
(Proverbs 7:24-27)

Thine eyes shall behold strange women, and thine heart shall utter perverse things. Yea, thou shalt be as he that lieth down in the midst of the sea, or as he that lieth upon the top of a mast.
(Proverbs 23:33-34)

In conclusion, we find that Jesus was so fond of wine that his contemporaries called him a gluttonous man and a winebibber. Moreover, he was an unmarried young man, so if Mary wet his feet with her tears, did not stop kissing them - since she entered the house - and wiped them with her hair while she was a notorious prostitute, then how Jesus forgot the examples of his ancestors; Judah, David and Solomon?! How come he forgot warnings of Solomon?! Did he not know that by means of a whorish woman a man is brought to a piece of bread?! And that a man cannot take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned? And that one cannot go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned? How come he allowed all this till the Pharisee objected?! How can one claim that these acts are not sexually oriented?! How come he forgave her because of such acts?! Are these acts appropriate in the eyes of the Just Exalted Lord?! This is why we find our ex-Christian writer saying,

She was at this time an available prostitute, is it appropriate of any Christian priest today - if he is invited in someone’s house - to permit a sinful whore to wash his feet before people without expressing any sign of repentance before whether covertly or overtly?

He used to love Mary and to go throughout villages with his disciples in the company of many women who served them with their money. How can one claim that - with this close contact - they were not indulged in lewdness as Reuben did with his stepmother, Judah with his son’s wife, David with Uriah’s wife and Amnon with his sister? Our ex-Christian writer notes,

It is more strange what Luke mentions that Jesus and his disciples used to go throughout villages with women including Mary who were notorious for lewdness and prostitution. You are most acknowledged that it is not available for people in Eastern countries especially in the countryside to find a separate place to sleep. These pious men must have been sleeping with these pious women all together.

Slipping of the disciples is even more likely because they were not perfect in faith before the departure of Jesus as Christian scholars admit. So, abstention from adultery was not among their characters; do not you see Catholic priests who abstain from marriage and claim that it is a character of piety while they are most notorious for their filthy scandals and their churches are like whorehouses?

Consequently, those deprived from marriage are more likely to indulge in lewdness. Jesus abstained from marriage entirely and his disciples either abstained from marriage or from multiple marriage just like Catholic priests. Also, love of Jesus to his disciple is a serious charge that’s why our ex-Christian writer comments on the statement of John that “there was leaning on Jesus' bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved” that,

….  like the woman who aims at something from her lover, so she flirts with him.

At the end, be informed that I wrote this article for sake of argument only and to show how pervert missionaries fanatically impose their filthy misinterpretations on the Qur’an and Sunnah. I seek refuge of Allah from their bigotry, fanaticism, arrogance and injustice. I bear witness that I dissociate myself from believing in the above charges against Jesus (peace be upon him) and his true disciples.

And to Allah belongs the Judgement in all Affairs.
