What's happened to me between Feb and Mar 2002?!?!
1457H 28 Mar 2002 - Good Thursday...

Whats the deal with the
Easter Bunny? Why are we celebrating Easter with a rabbit that likes eggs? Somehow, if you think abt it, the bunny doesnt exactly falls into the scheme of things... i mean, Christmas with santa is fine, coz he represents the "giving" part of christmas. What does an egg-crazy rabbit say about easter?

i m feeling mighty bored and in a holiday mood once again... never really noticed but actually, it's so quiet in my office that were the floors not carpetted, one can probably hear a pin drop... thankfully, the silence is often broken by colleagues chatting over the speaker phone to fellow "Motorolans" from other countries such as China. Why I specifically mentioned China is coz i just heard a colleague speaking to a China Motorolan... How can i tell? the unmistakenable China-accent... Not all of them has it of course... but i think those who come across the worst are the Chinamen who have a China accent and yet still choose to speak with American slangs. I'm not complaining or bitching abt them... just stating my observations... bleah

The weather has turned from extreme heat to sudden rain... good or bad, i can't say... but my point is since i no longer drive around, i'll have to be prepared for sudden rain... i hate carrying umbrellas. its unmanly and umbrellas dun usually work anyways... but sometimes, there really is no choice. if i can, i would just walk in the rain. i am blabbering. i hope it doesnt rain today. i am still blabbering. why am i blabbering? it is because i m bored. why am i bored? coz my blabbering is boring the hell outta me... its probably boring you too... i dun care... i am still blabbering away... i m still bored...

blabber... blubber.. bloober... blib...

lately i have been humming some evergreen chinese pop oldies... those that my dad used to listen to... i think some of them actually do sound nice and kinda nostalgic... unfortunately, it drives Renee nuts... she probably thinks I'm crazy when i do so... i'm not crazy... but then again, drunk people dun admit to being drunk... i'm not drunk either...

i guess my blabber is kinda like a form of linguistic doodling... instead of using a pencil to create form out of random lines and shapes, i just randomly type away on the keyboard... actually, if i'm really randomly typing away at the keyboard, you will be reading something like this:

hrif nos gnfsv haoehh4w9r8 iugbf se8f 4w kangi hsfdg 9re wh4fhres fshof 09we
uirew foirefnoirf noweroewfn oawhgoirhtbagl nvfa guiawehrgdsfvoiu se

now that is random...

now i think i'm crazy...

but if a crazy man will never admit he's crazy, does that make someone who admits that he is crazy, sane? or does that make that someone crazier...

i think i'm crazy... no i'm not... whatever...

0202H 28 Mar 2002 - A couple of jackasses...

The pair of penguins u see on my main page are jackasses... no, serious, they really are... these 2 are fine (if not somewhat dumb-looking) samples of African aka jackass penguins, found only off  the coasts of South Africa... They seem to have a penchant for pink eye-shadow...

Read abt them
here...

No, Ken... No condolence page for my car... I am not that bo liao...

1427H 26 Mar 2002 - Upgrading...

From today on, i will be chauffeured wherever i wanna go... That's right, chauffeured! I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the bus, taxi and MRT drivers for making this possible. So long, car! No more stuck in jam frantically switching from radio station to station to find a decent song to listen to... No more cursing and swearing coz i forgot to put in the ERP card before going thru the gantries... No more last minute handsfree driving to connect the HP to the ear piece when someone calls(so that's why they call it handsfree kit...) No more trying to get away with putting less parking coupons then required or setting the start time 15 minutes later to milk the most out of my 45 cents...

Well, not that i have much of a choice anyway... my car is going to the scrapyard today... Rust in peace...

1342H 25 Mar 2002 - The heat is on...

What's with the weather these days? Its getting freaky hot! Yesterday, I must have perspired twice as much as i usually do during my  weekly Sunday soccer game. Damn fucked-up temperature... not only is it hot, it's also humid... Did someone tamper with the Earth's thermostat? I'm glad I'm in the air-con comfort of my office right now...

Oh yeah, wat a game it was last night at Anfield. Just when everyone thought the game between
Liverpool and Chelsea was heading for a goalless draw (Chelsea missed quite a number of good clearcut chances), up popped Vladimir Smicer to spectacularly volley home an injury-time winner from a Heskey cross. 1-0 to the Reds!!! Anfield practically erupted! And i jumped off the sofa in ecstasy as well! Damn drama! and now Liverpool is perched on top of the table again... Though Arsenal is still in a better position to win the league, i am really keeping my fingers crossed for Liverpool...

Incidentally, all 3 teams at the top of the table have red-based home jerseys... coincidence? or is red really an auspicious colour?

Uploaded
pics of my tattoos... Thanks Jerm.

0113H 24 Mar 2002 - Happy Birthday Eugene...

Actually it was yesterday but i din get the chance to put in my entry until after i watch Man U  go down 1-nil to Middlesbrough at Old Trafford... Thought I heard "You'll never walk alone" near the end of the game... Is that becoming a anti-Man U anthem now?

Ok as promised... Pics taken at JamX 2002 are
here... erm... wait a minute did i promise them? oh well i said some pics anyway...

1858H 21 Mar 2002 - It's over...

Phew... it wasn't as bad as i thought... the dentist was quite expert in pulling the tooth out... just took a few minutes... and the anesthetic jab din hurt as much as i thought... so all's well... but the only damned thing is i only have mc for today... how? should i go work tmrw? i dun feel like... =(

0146H 21 Mar 2002 - less than 10 hours to D-day H-hour

Needles is 1 's' short of Needless, but in my case later, its definitely not needless... i have to first take the pain of the needles to take away the pain of the extraction and eventually take away the pain of my rotten tooth... so i have to face it like a man... erm... well... . i can only try not to cry... boo hoo...

Have some pics to upload, but not right now... stay tuned for more...

1255H 20 Mar 2002 - Needless Needling...

I hate needles! I really do! Everytime i have to take an injection, i cringe, but have to put up a brave front to take the jabs anyway. I have images of needles poking through my eyes or through my throat. all excruciatingly-painful and gory images... i hate them! i hate 'em!!!

and tmrw i'll have to put up with the jab that will send sanity-preserving local anaesthetic into my jaw before the dentist does battle with my rotten wisdom tooth... i shudder at that thought... but oh well, have to deal with it anyway.

*Those not interested in
Liverpool or soccer may find the following few paragraphs boring or crap, but hey, i dun care what u think... i'm writing about Liverpool anyway... =P

Liverpool is through to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League on the back of a great 2-0 win over defending Serie A champions AS Roma. Goals scored from 2 well-executed set-pieces, a 7th-minute penalty by Litmanen (after a foul on Murphy just within the edge of the penalty box by Assuncao), and a 64th-minute header by Heskey after he rose magnificently to connect with a Murphy free-kick from the left flank. Good all-round performance by all the players and a result that puts Roma out of the Champions League.

Heskey was a handful throughout the game for the Roma defence, and once again Henchoz made some superb interception and tackles. One particular piece of defending that was absolutely crucial was a header to prevent Batistuta from getting a free header, after a flowing move down the right flank by Roma on the break. It looked like Batistuta was destined to convert the cross for an equaliser as Liverpool seemed to be caught on the break with no Red shirt in sight in Dudek's penalty box, but Henchoz seemed to teleport out of nowhere to get in front of Batistuta and divert the ball away from him. After being under Hyypia's shadow last season, Henchoz has emerge this season to be the Liverpool captain's equal in defence. In fact, one might even argue he is playing better than Hyypia at the moment. And he doesn't even have to use his hands lately...

And of course, perhaps the most emotional part of last night's win is the return of
Gerard Houllier to Anfield. Although he seemed to still leave most of the work to Phil "Pinocchio" Thompson, i think his presence in the dug-out was no doubt a great motivational factor for the players. Welcome back, Houllier! but most imptly, your health comes first.

Hmm... seems like a lot of the
Liverpool personnels have last names starting with the letter 'H'...

Houllier
Henchoz
Hyypia
Heskey
Hamann
and even
Heggem...

well... hip hip hooray...

needles... needles tmrw... brr... shivers down my spine...

1015H 19 Mar 2002 - Long time no update...

Hello my friend, I write again... It's been a while, where should I begin... Feels like forever... (sounds good on a song, dun it? kekeke)

My head's been aching on and off lately, i suspect it's due to a problem with my remaining wisdom teeth... really need to go see a dentist but i've been procrastinating for the longest time (ie < 5 years) the really screwed up thing is, there's a dentist right downstairs in the next block and another one across the road... call me the great procrastinator...

Bought quite a lot of vdcs lately. if u r into classic great movies, go check out Tower Reords at Suntec. There's a section with 2 titles for $29.90, and another with 3 titles for $29.90. Quite a bargain if u ask me... what's more they are original and not pirated... dun need to cry over bad quality, or hearing the laughter recorded off the audience.

Also bought myself a pair of bright yellow nike shox. extravagant yes, but hell! its yellow! gives me extra height too! Good for hangin out with taller girls, reaching those high-shelfed books at borders, hangin out with taller girls, wearing length-32 Levi's, and oh yes, hangin out with taller girls...

My brother's coming back on Sunday for his hols... I'm sure my parents will be very happy to see him... me, no diff...

Car will be scrapped at the end of the month... time to start topping up my farecard and buying bus stamps... =(

Argh... headache is coming back on again... time to start popping panadol and skiving at work... ;)

1742H 13 Mar 2002 - Blue no more...

Sun's out... blue no more... not ecstactic but somewhat relieved and calmer... Zen... Oomm... I'm floating... Now all it takes is for Liverpool to beat Barcalona tonight to make my day...

2155H 12 Mar 2002 - Blue Tuesday...

I am in a bad bad mood... not the Ra-ra shout at u in your face kind of foul mood, but rather the down and blue kinda bad mood... Dun mess with me. i might just explode in your face...

1438H 11 Mar 2002 - Bak Kut Teh Yumm...

You know i m skiving when i have the time to update my blog twice in a day during office hours. Went to Ang Mo Kio for a delicious Bak Kut Teh lunch, and now that i m back in office, i am struggling to stay awake. Ok, so i dozed off for a while.. big deal... who cares, right? boss not around anyway... haha... i am being very naughty.

On the redeeming side, i have decided to take a sabbatical from smoking. Will finish my last box (of which i only have 1 stick left) and just take a break for a while... wonder how long i can last... hmm...

Btw, added
Boon Khee's site to my links. He was a neighbour at PGP when i first moved in there 2 semesters ago...

1126H 11 Mar 2002 - You're not the boss of me now...

Hehe... The bosses are away overseas for a fortnight... meaning i can come to work as and when i want(well, not that i havent been doing that...) and i can leave as and when i want, and i can do whatever i want in the office. Actually no. i am conscientious. i will faithfully do what my boss has told me to do. i will arrive at work on time everyday and work til 10pm everynight. i will not go for coffee or teabreaks. i will submit excellent work and make the best impression i can on the folks at
Motorola. I will do all that so that i can join the company after i graduate. oh wait a minute, i'll have to serve a 6-years bond with the airforce after i graduate. hmm... why bother then? i shall slack...

Ice age is hilarious. go catch it before global warming melts everything...

I am Sam is good too... Heart warming. sure to melt any heart with ice left over from the ice age. oh, and damn, Michelle Pfeiffer looks good... Mmmm...

0944H 5 Mar 2002 - What the devil?!?!

Ever heard of
National Association of Trade Agents Singapore (NATAS)? Saw it advertising in the papers for some travel fair yesterday, then it struck me... If u spell the acronym backwards, and what do you get? Now do u still feel safe about travelling? Brrr...

2200H 3 Mar 2002 - Is this silly?

Some people may think its dumb to write an online diary. They dun see a point in letting the rest of the world know about their personal life... True, perhaps,  if you are one of those who think its dumb, then why are u reading this?

speaking of putting your personal life on display for everyone else, well, i'm watching The Truman Show on telly now... later...

0043H 28 Feb 2002 - Who am i?

Heard this on Power 98 today. For a great excuse to forget a girl's name during sex, blame it on
Transient Global Amnesia

More on the trip to the zoo, since Renee mentioned the donkeys... Guys, when someone next call you an Ass, take it as a compliment and say "thank you". The donkey's dick is really something. When in use, it's long, black and thick. quite an awesome sight. Renee and i saw this ass pissing(at least i hope it was piss for decency's sake) with the dick extended in all its glory(or gory depending on your perception). When not in use, it shrinks to a managable size and tucks away nicely between the donkey's testes. Much like many of those exercise machines they advertise on TV...

Funny or gross, you decide. but guys, if someone calls u an ass,
stand up and be counted...

2015H 25 Feb 2002 - Monday Blues... NOT!

Monday. Start of another work week... Spent a long and tiring day with monkeys and asses... No, i'm not referring to my colleagues and bosses, i'm referring to real monkeys and asses at the
zoo... its been some time since i last went to the zoo, and since today was a holiday in lieu of Saturday's hari raya haji, i took the chance to spend a day with animals... It was a pretty good and enjoyable day, except for the interruption of rain in the middle of the day... took some pics, and will ut them up when i get them developed... not only were there lots of interesting animals to watch, there was even an ang moh cross-dresser sitting on a bench looking at the orang utans... and an ugly cross-dresser at that... oh well... guess he just din realise he was making a monkey out of himself... (pt of interest: orang utans are not monkeys. they are apes. Difference between monkeys and apes is that monkeys have tails) My favourite animal has still gotta be the penguins. Always in their tux, they were just standing around in their enclosure and stoning. All dressed up, with nowhere to go...

rewinding a couple of days, i was in JB on saturday, ate a lot and bought meself a pair of
oakleys(finally, having been wanting a pair for the longest time) Damn happy with my new shade, can't stop looking at them (or myself in 'em) ok, so i spent a bomb on them, but i deserved them for.... erm... well, i deserve them. so there.

1519H 22 Feb 2002 - Bored in Motorola...

Its Friday lah, and absolutely no mood to do anything serious now... just watching the seconds tick by... but shit, there's a meeting at 4pm later... hope it doesn't drag too long...

Watched Guiness World Records Primetime the other night, and they featured this guy with a unique talent. He sucked a cup of milk up his right nostril, then he pulled down the skin under his right eye, and squirted the milk out from his right tear duct! Amazing! Gross, but amazing! The milk travelled in a continuous stream and he can even adjust the trajectory of the milk to see where it lands! Freaky, eh? Apparently, there's this valve that controls the flow of tears between the eyes and the nose. Most people' valves work only in one-direction, meaning the tears are only allowed to flow from the eye into the nose. This guy's valves however, according to doctors, is bi-directional. That means, it's basically out of order. That is why the milk can flow from his nose to his eyes through the tear ducts.

The guy said he discovered this unique talent when he was swimming one day. He was underwater when he sneezed. He found bubbles coming out from his eyes! That's when it struck him.

Well, apparently, this reptile called the Horned Lizard goes one step further... When threatened, the lizard can squirt a stream of blood out of its eye at the predator! This blood contains noxious chemicals that make it very unpleasant to the predator... now that is morbid...

Finally got round to adding a tracker to this page. Now I know who you are and where you are reading this from. Big Brother is watching...

1710H 19 Feb 2002 - Off the grapevine...

This may not be news to all of you, but some rumours i heard over lunch...

It turned out that one of my colleagues' cousin is Tay Ping Hui (or teh-peng hway as i like to call him sometimes) He works out at California Pro or something (The fish-tank gym opposite Orchard Cineleisure.) Other Guys who work out there include:

Lawrence Chow - Ex-TCS host of such quality programmes like "Showbuzz" (I think)... Apparently he has a rather cute boyfriend who works at ChinaBlack.

Bryan Wong - Ex-TCS now TVWorks host of such quality programmes like... erm... nevermind... Apparently he has an Indon boyfriend.

When quizzed on Teh-Peng Hway's sexual orientation, my colleague diplomatically said, "I dunno..."

And apparently, one can find lots of queers (Guys who like guys, and girls who like girls, and guys who like guys who like girls... yada yada i'm just rambling...) at the gym there... (You will never find me stepping into any gym on my own accord.) Wonder which other "celebrities" hang out there?

Hmm... Brackets are fun! (Dun u agree?) Hahahaha (lalala)

1553H 19 Feb 2002 - Fish oil is good, Cod Liver oil is bad...

Cod liver oil, while a good health supplement for kids, is unhealthy for adults, as the oil is actually extracted from cods' livers... brr... For a healthier supplement, take Fish oil with added stuff like Omega or whatever. For more information, go find out yourself. I am not here to babysit or spoonfeed you.

0141H 17 Feb 2002 - Brr... the weekend's too short...

Why are the weekends so short?

Just came back from watching Amelie... its a good show, charming, funny, and full of hope... go watch it... now waiting for Spiderman to come out... kekeke Why on earth did they have to ban Zoolander anyway? Only promotes piracy... dumb...

Speaking of dumb, here's
something about medical students. You might have seen it before, but it's still funny anyway...

1026H 14 Feb 2002 - Happy Valentine's

Argh! back in office after a oh-so-short new year break... why can't we celebrate all 15 days of the new year in peace? it was so awful having to drag myself out of bed to get to work... and to cap it off, i forgot to insert my cashcard before i passed the ERP gantry... there goes my ang pow money...

Seems like i'm a pretty good target for attracting droo and goo this new year. On the first day of new year, my few-months-old baby nephew conveniently rubbed his nose and mouth against my sleeve as i was holding him. On the second day, my aunt's dog, Ah Peh (Ah White in Hokkien), drooled over my berms as i was quietly sitting in my seat. Eewww... gross out! berms went straight into the wash asap. Well, at least both offending parties were too cute for me to get pissed at them. My baby nephew just kept smiling whenever he looked at me. wonder whether its because he's happy to see me, or because i looked amusing to him. thats the problem with babies... all of them speak the same language from birth, but eventually, everyone forgets how to speak baby-language... gaga goo ga?

today is valentine's day. its a hallmark holiday, if u know what i mean. happy valentine's anyway.

1444H 08 Feb 2002 - New Year Mood...

Friday afternoon, stuck in the office, staring at a 5-day break starting tmrw... Shiok! But now seriously no mood to work liao...

Just like to share a quote: "Everybody dies, but not everyone truly lives" Something like that... Its by William Wallace aka Braveheart. I think its an elegant way of telling people to do something worthwhile in their lives and make an impact.

Me? I'm just contented to sit at my cubicle and wait for my 5-day break to start...
______________________________________________________________

1855H 01 Feb 2002 - Caffeine Low...

Went throught the entire day without a single drop of coffee... Kept trying to stay awake at work... Sheesh... Wonder how i actually made it...

Anyway, finally shifted all my past entries to somewhere else so that my blog will look somewhat neater... but somehow i dun think it really make much of a difference, does it?

The other night, I was having supper with Renee and Vicky at the Temasek Comm Hall. Along came this cockroach crawling around on the floor. You know the styrofoam boxes we use to ta pao food in? well, we took half of it and trapped the cockroach with it. I was wondering whether the cockroach will just keep moving. It did. So there was this half styrofoam box on the TH Comm Hall with 2 feelers sticking out and roaming about spasmodically on the floor. If you dun know what is inside and dun see the feelers, it probably looks like a poltergeist at work. Kinda freaky, but we were pretty amused. Except for Vicky. She was VERY amused, and kept laughing at it... Cruel, yes, but we just left it as that when we left. Wonder how many poor souls the cockroach freaked out after we left...

Finally Heskey scores for
Liverpool in the 1-0 win over Leicester City! I think he deserved to. Even though a lot of shit has been said about his lack of goals this season, but i think he has played his heart in all his games. Now lets hope this goal will spark of a scoring run for him. Maybe beat Rude van-oilyhair-Nisteroy's record... kekeke

I know i'm getting old when i find more and more things to kow peh about. I dun understand why guys can't lift the toilet seat at the bowls if they wanna pee there in public toilets... Seeing dribble on the seat when u need to use the bowl to shit is damn disgusting and frustrating and irritating... esp when u really need to shit. Can't those seat-non-lifters use the urinals, or at least have the decency to raise the seats? May those guys find dribble on every public toilet bowl when they most need to shit...

Well, 2 sweaty and smelly girls just appeared at the door... that's all for now folks... think what u want... muahahahahaha
