MERE CHRISTIANITY OUTLINE
I. The Law of Human Nature
A. There is in fact a difference of right and wrong in all societies
B. The ordinary human being has the option to disobey this ‘standard’ of right and wrong.
C. Human beings do not always behave to this Law of Human Nature, and many times than not DO break it.

II. Objections
A. The idea that there are no such things as the isolation of completely good or completely bad feelings or impulses.
B. The idea of Herd Instinct
C. While moralities are different everywhere depending on the culture, most MAJOR religions have similar moral standards that they tell their members to follow.

III. Reality of the Law
A. There are some ‘consequences’ to disrupting this natural balance or law.
B. The law is not a law as we think of it, but more as a standard(s) that we should follow
C. These ‘standards’ are not always the most desirable things to follow and do, but they show us the way of best doing things.

IV. What Lies Behind the Law
A. Differing Views on the Creation of the World
1. Materialistic View
2. Religious View
B. We cannot depend on science to answer everything for us
C. And finally while we ourselves don’t know everyone in the entire planet, we can assume that they all share the same value system and moral standards as we do.
