Good Charlotte mistake plastic glasses for love!
Carling Academy,
Birmingham
15th December 2003

US band Good Charlotte showed how they
fit perfectly into the punk-rock scene when
they played the Carling Academy in
Birmingham.
The venue was packed with fans tiny
enough to put into your pocket. The boys
from Good Charlotte showed energy and
"love" for the UK, declaring it would be the
place where they would love to die.
The band, on a European tour, played most
of their hits from their breakthrough album
The Young And The Hopeless including My
Bloody Valentine, The Anthem, which whipped the already crazy crowd into a frenzy, and Boys and Girls.
And the singer didn't seem to care that he was being pelted every few seconds with a plastic pint glass full of some sort of liquid.
They gave the fans over an hour of their thumping hits which they thoroughly enjoyed crowd surfing to.
And before the tattooed boys left the stage they promised they would be back soon with a brand new record.
