THE ALLENDALE MELODIANS |
|||||||||||||||||||||||
ABOUT THE BAND........ |
|||||||||||||||||||||||
This fine gentleman is Mr. Sambo Johnson. Prior to becoming a musician he was the carriage driver for Mr. William L. Gevedon. When Mr. Gevedon went off to fight in The Great Rebellion Sambo, along with his other brethren decided it would be best if they went along and entertained the troops. He says if he ever gets the chance he would like to " meet Jefferson Davis and shake his hand. " |

This is Proffessor Sable. He claims to have been a teacher at The Allendale Institute of Technology before becoming the Interlocuter of the Melodians. Some are scepticle to these accusations, as his theories on life and love are a bit far fetched. But none the less he is a fine Banjo player. He is currently trying to figure out how Jobo got through college and recieved a " pluma". |

This is Mr. Claudius Hiratio Jackson. He is a runaway from the good state of Georgia. He came to Kentucky and took up residence in Allendale. He eventually was elected Deputy Sherriff and is a regular at Fat Annes Home for Lost and Wayward Women. This fine establishment is often times accused of being a " House of Ill Repute ", but Mr. Jackson defends it as " a nice kind of place ..... a place where a fellow can relax and forget his worries ". |

What can be said about The Amazin' Jobo ? The list goes on and on. Some say he can work magic with that tambourine and get the women in such a frenzy that they pass out from exhileration. Some say he is an uneducated fool, and according to Mr. Jackson he is " the only Darkie what am not gay! " But we like him and his style of zaniness brings a comedic addition to the programme that could make even the unhappiest fellow in the world smile. |
