Last updated April 28, 2001BSB @ WMA's : Sisqo and Carmen Electra will be the 2001 hosts @ the World Music Awards in Monte Carlo. The awards show will air on May 28 on ABC (9 p.m. EDT) although it will be taped on the 2nd of May. The BSB performed "More Than That" on the Kids Choice Awards. AJ was missing since his grandmother died. The BSB didn't win any awards. Around The World, a 90-minute documentary-style film which follows the Backstreet Boys on their 100 hour promotional tour will be released in early April. The video includes extensive coverage of media events on the ground in each city, exclusive footage of the Boys on their charted 757 jet, and even includes shots of the guys flying the plane! Look for interviews and behind-the-scenes action all set to a non-stop bed of Backstreet Boys music from Black & Blue and their previous two releases. As an added bonus, Around The World will include a live video of "Shape Of My Heart," which combines five live performances from around the world into one never-before-seen exclusive video. During a Much Music interview on Tuesday Kevin leaked some info about "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?". Nick informed us that he was replaced by Kevin because he was in Orlando working on his brother's Disney special. Kevin let it slip that neither him nor Howie made it to the hot seat. The shows air this Sunday and Wednesday. Backstreet Boys have been nominated for a Grammy Award in the Pop performance by a duo or group with vocal for "Show Me The Meaning Of Being Lonely". The next single from the Boys will be "The Call". The video has already been shot and should be released shortly, either on or around January 9, 2001. The Backstreet Boys will be performing at the Superbowl on January 28, 2001. They will be singing the National anthem. *N Sync will be performing at the half time show.
