This was a very entertaining mystery series produced by TVB. Blood Stained Intrigue consisted of many un-well known stars who are usually supporting stars in other TVB productions. The great thing about this series was that it kept the audience in suspense throughout the entire series.
Jimmy Au and Ng Sai Mei were the leads in this remarkable series. The series began with a family running away from the entire Vo Lam (martial arts world). The Vo Lam wanted to execute the entire family, who was later introduced as the family of Jimmy's. Jimmy's family consisted of his parents, played by the experienced veterans, Kenneth Tsang and Lui Yau Wai,and also his brother and sister. It was soon revealed early in the series that Jimmy's father was accused of killing 4 sect leaders.
Throughout the series, the 3 children desperately tried to find the real killers so they could wash away the terrible accusation laid on their family. This series was definitely highly appealing, since as the series advanced, it seemed that the real killers could be anybody... Ng Sai Mei delivered a cute performance as the righteous Hong Chor Kwan. Alongside her performance, her costumes really accentuated her adorable figure, making her appearances enjoyable to watch.
