Pocket schedules, better know as skeds have been around probably as long as the football has been played and represent a challenging, but cost-effective, football collectible. This site seeks to organize and provide pictures of all NFL schedules to serve as a visual checklist and informational resource. Many of the scans are from my personal collection, while pictures of others have been obtained from skedders willing to help, and from other various sites.
I will continue to add to the picture archive as new pictures become available or my collection grows. You the collector can help improve this site by emailing me with scans of skeds not yet pictured or to replace those of poor quality (or trade with me???). I will make every effort to update the site weekly and give credit to all who share their scans. I will not display all of the sponsor variations, only cover variations.
Most pictures are thumbnailed versions (standardized to 80 pixels wide) that link to larger versions of the sked. Many of the larger format pictures are 240 pixels wide, but various heights so as not to distort the image. Any pictures that link to images less than 240 pixels wide were the best available pics and are not part of my collection. I am attempting to show skeds starting in the 1970s with earlier years being added as scans become available. Team links sometimes show several different cover variations, while the season links show just one particular sked from each team.
Web Master Note: As you can see from the links below there is also a NHL sked archive site out there, but none for the NBA or MLB. If you're good with web sites, why don’t you start putting one of them together. Let me and Chris (the NHL webmaster) know and we'll put links to your site on ours. And if you want, I'll be able to send along a few scans to get you started. Scott
