The Time of Your Life Me and four of my best friends are to our favorite concert and can't wait for the occasion. It is the first time we have ever been to Backstreet Boys Concert. Nick is my favorite guy. And each of my friends like a different guy from the rest of us. We all go shopping and find the cutest outfits for the concert. Nad go and have our nails done. As the day went on our excitment grows until we nearly can't take it anymore. We rented a limo and put various Backstreet posters on it. Then we found a banner and put it on the bumper. The banner said: Backstreet Boys #1 Fans!!! Watch Out!!! As we drove to the concert everything seemed like a dream. We go to the concert arena just in time to grab our front row seats and to see the opening act perform. After they finished the lights went up and the television screens around the arena came on showing Nick and the rest of the guys. The cownd screamed at seeing them. They were showing the ideas behind the Backstreet Project and the comic book that Nick helped develope. After the Televisions went off the arena went pitch black dark. Me and my friends screamed and held hand knowing for the first time we would all get to see the guys in person and the thought of it gave all of us butterflies in our stomach. The dancers came onto tthe stage and the were marching with torch lights to the music of the Star Wars Theme. The there was this huge explosion of fire workd and everyone went frantic over the sight of Nick, Brian, Kevin, Howie, and AJ coming out on surfer board like things. It was a totally amazing sight. Then as they were unstrapped from their harnesses the song that is dedicated to their fans began to play. Right off hand I knew it was Larger Than Life. The energy of the guys was completely amazing. They were taking all the energy from the crowd and turning it into something spectacular on stage. They sung and danced so perfectly and not to mention they were hot. After the song each guy stayed on a specific side for the majority of the show. Well my friends were a little let down becasue there guys weren't on thier side but I was totally in awe when Nick came over and stayed on our side for the majority of the show. When he was singing and dancing he would look out into the audience. He saw me and waved and mouthd hello to me and just kept flirting with me the entire time. I had to sit down for a mintute to cool off from all the excitment. I started to cry as Nick came over and sang part of his song to me. It was so amazing I felt as it we were in a completely different room and no one was around us, just me and Nick. Finally I came out of my thoughts as Howie began to sing his part. The guys performed asll their songs from their new album and some of their other albums. And with evey song I knew every word and was singing along with the guys. For the song The Perfect Fan the choose five girls from the audience. My guess was that Nick remembered who I was and I was picked to come up on stage. Luckily my mom was there with me and my friends to chaperone us. They took me up on stage and instantly Nick came over and took my hand. He asked me for my name. I could barely speak, I yelled over the audience and yelled my name in his ear. He announced it to the audience. He sat my mom down in a chair and grabbed me by the hand and led me around the stage as he sang. I was so excited I couldn't believe it. That was the one thing I always want to do was meet Nick Carter. I finally got to meet him and decided my life was perfect. He was everything I pictured and more. After the song he took me backstage to his dressing room where I was able to watch the monitors. He told me he'd be back for me after the show. I watched the remainder of the show on the monitor in Nick Carter's dressing room. The concert ended with the song I Want it That Way which was amazing. Then after the song Nick told his bodyguard to grab my friends and my mom and escorted them backstage and introduced each of my friends to the guy that she was 'crusing' on. After waiting patiently Nick finally came in and talked to me. We talked for hours. He asked me if I would go out with him to dinner some time. I was completley speechless. I managed to mumble a weak yes. Then he told me to him my address to him.He told me that after the the concert the next night he would come to my house and pick me up. I told him that was okay (of course) and he just smiled at me and gave me a small kiss on the cheek. But then unfortunalely I had to leave so he could get dresed. I went home that night waiting for the next day to come quickly. My friends were shocked that I was going out with him and they were still in shock from meeting the other guys. But me, I was still in total disbelief. How lucky could a girl like me actually get. I don't know but I felt like the luckiest girl in the world. Back to The Main Page
