Chapter 15 All night my mind was gaoin in circles. I couldn't believe Nick wanted me to come with him. I wanted to go so much but I knew it would be hard to convince my mom. I knew I had to find a way to convince them. I thought about that until I finally drifted off to sleep. The following morning I woke up at the sound of the doorbell. It was very odd since it was early in the morning and it was also a school day for me. I herd my mom answer the door and shared a brief conversation with the person. "Sure you can go back there, but I think she's still asleep." I herd my mom say. I knew immediately who it was. I herd his footsteps approaching my door. I turned over and acted like I was asleep. The door quietly opened and he stepped inside. I herd him walk to the opposite side of my bed. I could feel his eyes staring at me. I tried not to laugh but it just came out. It surprised him a little to see me awake. I opened my eyes to a smiling agelic face. "Good Morning." he said cheery. "Morning." I mumbled. "Sleep well?" "A little I was up most of the night trying to think of a way to convince my mom to let me come with you." "Oh. Well you'll sleep better tonight." ' knock knock ' "YES MOM!" "Good morning." "Morning." "I see Nick woke you up. That makes my morning easier." "Yep well anyway are you getting ready to leave?" "Yes so I will see you tonight." "Okay but when you get home I need to talk to you." "Okay love you honey." "Love you mommy." I said as she walked out the door. In the distance I herd her close the garage door. "Good luck baby." "I know I am going to need it." "Well you have two days to convince her." "What! I thought I had two weeks." "NO two weeks is when our first show is. Before that we have to prepare for the show." "So when do you.... I mean we leave." "This weekend." "Two days?" "Yep." "Will you help me convince her." "Of course baby." he said smiling. "What are you smiling at?" Oh nothing... I'm just glad that you want to come with me." He said taking my arm and pulling me onto his lap and held me close. "I don't know what I would do without my baby." "OH MY GOSH!" I yelled and hopped from his lap. "What... What is it?" "I'm gonna be late if I don't get ready." I said going into the bathroom and starting the shower. "Oh okay. then I'll see you later... unless I can join you." "Uh as much as I would like to I don't think so. "Why not?" he pouted. "Nick why do you think?" "Uh nevermind."
