Stand Up

Like a two-ton bull she broke out
Spinning and jumping in the air
She was tired of clowns and cowboys
It was time to seperate the pair.

She woke up and could not roll over
There was someone clinging to her back
She left that mask beneath the covers
And walked off alone down those tracks

The rain hit hard against her pockets
The snow said take the easy route
There were times when the wind had her bent over
But she knew that was not what she's about

She could see the others who had managed
To break the steel like monkey grip
They did not let on they saw each other
It was still to early in the trip

She found herself and that is all she wanted
She knew she was somewhere there inside
She stood up and everything connected
Then she decided she's like to take a ride.
