| Monkey Doo by © vatooz I crawled out of bed and I turned up the heat I found some left over pizza and called it something to eat I didn't turn on the light because I could not stand the shock I muted the news so I could not hear them talk I was doing all right I was well on my way To officially enlisting myself in the day When I thought I heard the paper hitting the door And my feet starting walking me across the floor Out on the sidewalk by where my grass used to be Was a big red assed monkey and it was mooning me I thought that perhaps I was not fully awake So I decided to give my poor noggin a shake When I looked back now I saw two And my morning paper was in a pile of fresh doo I wasn't quite sure if I was on TV So I smiled real big and I walked out to see Just then from behind my big bamboo tree Something jumped inside and closed the front door on me I jiggled the handle but this did not help Right then one of the monkeys let out a yelp I jumped off the porch to see what was wrong But when I looked around this monkey was gone I looked at my slipper and what did I see But a big pile of monkey doo splattered on me Now you might recall that I wasn't up long Before I found myself stinking half dressed and dog gone Here comes the neighbor lady with her black book And she stops short of me and gives me a look I wish her the best of this brand new day And she mutters something and waddles away Just then the monkeys who captured my place Opened the door and jumped in my face They said they were sorry for putting me out They were in the wrong place and I started to shout Just then one of the monkeys wiped off my shoe And showed me a picture taken last night of you It seems that you left them behind in a bar Where a half sauced albino was playing a guitar They went to the kitchen to get something to eat And when they got back to the table you had made your retreat You had been drinking bannana daquari's all evening long And to leave them with the bill they considered quite wrong They asked how they might get in touch this feller So I gave them your screen name on Yahoo Story teller. |
