Slightly Embarassed

When I was a teenager I had what was called a "flipper" or fake dental plate to fill in for a front missing tooth. Whenever I wanted to enjoy foodstuffs I would have to remove it. I went on vacation to the Disney Epcot center with a girlfriend and we were enjoying a fine lunch in one of the nicer restaurants. Needless to say, I removed to flipper to eat. Well, the thing was when we were finished and half way down the road my friend said, "uh oh, where is your tooth?" {SMILE} If that was not embarrassing enough, I had to get back to the restarant fast to find it. I had left it wrapped in a napkin, when I got there they had just emptied the trash receptacle. A fella was taking it away and I asked him to "HEY WAIT!" To the Good Spirits response, my flipper was there right on top. I am fortunate now to not have such a thing, but the memories of it will remain!
