| Snowbound by © horsesg We`ve been snow bound so many times!:) Its hard to pick just one. But here goes....... One Winter weekend we had invited all our kids and some Friends and Neighbors to come out for a Winter Dinner. It was a nice day and all came. Everyone brought a passing dish, so we had great food and lots of it. After Dinner some watched movies, some played games and some took naps. About 4pm a Friend and Neighbor left and it was starting to snow pretty good. About 30 mins. later. They called back and said if our kids were going home they`d better start now. The North South roads were starting to drift bad. I told the Kids and the boys poo hooed it. Well by 5:30 the snow was half way up our back door and the kids thought maybe they should go home. Naw! Our drive was drifted shut and they walked to the road and so was it. They were all there 3 days. We had 3 in diapers so had to tear up an old sheet as the water froze and it took all day and part of one night to thaw it out.Needless to say in a way it was funny and fun. But there was 3 young men who learned not to poo hoo an elders advise.:) horsesg |
