Judge me not by how I look
Judge me not by what I say
Judge me not by who I was,
But rather who I am

Don't judge me by my memories
Or what I choose to buy
Don't think I feel I should belong
Simply let me be

Don't judge me for another
I am not like most you've met
Words may tumble and fall out wrong
So maybe I should write instead

Don't be judge and jury of taste
Don't play my life on constant rewind
The past was me and what I learned
And now I'm me, not then.

Don't judge clothes and make up
I am not a fashion trend, I am not a style
I don't put make-up on my face, it isn't me
I like going barefoot, even when it's cold.

Do not judge my nervous smile, it's false
Deep inside I may be laughing, maybe crying
I smile when I'm angry, I write when I am sad
You can judge by all of this, and not be judging me.

Don't judge me by emotion, there is more to see
I am more than a laugh and yell
I hear more than I see
I am not on trial, so please do not judge me.

Don't judge me by a color, I am the same inside
When you see a naked heart, does it matter who it's in?
When you need a vital organ, would you reject it by their skin?
Would you reject my heart if needed, only as a gift?

Are you judging by education, if I learned to read?
Languages change throughout the years
As do those who speak them
Am I any less than me, if I simply forgot?

Judge me not for it's deception
Unless you can truely see, and know
That you are only judging my mind and soul
For one day, that's all there'll be.
