The Maltese Final was held on February 7th at the Malta Fairs & Convention Centre in Ta' Qali, hosted by Pablo Micallef & Valerie Vella. Before the final there were 8 Semi-Finals - click here for details: MALTESE SEMI-FINALS 2009 The winner was chosen in two rounds of voting. In the first round, an "expert" jury selected the top 3 songs to go forward to the second round, where the winner was chosen by televoting.
