We all have our story where we were on September 11th 2001.
It doesn't matter where I was, yet how I feel about it does.
It Was As If They Flew Those Planes Into My Heart And Blew It Up Too.
Many Have Asked Where Was God? Read Below!
He Was There. I Have No Doubts.
I Was There …
You say you will never forget where you were when you heard
the news September 11, 2001.
Neither will I.
I was on the 110th floor in a smoke filled room with a man who
called his wife to say "Good-bye." I held his fingers steady
as he dialed. I gave him the peace to say,
"Honey, I am not going to make it, but it is OK...I
am ready to go." I was with his wife when he called as she fed
breakfast to their children. I held her up as she tried to
understand his words and as she realized he wasn't
coming home that night.
I was in the stairwell of the 23rd floor when a woman cried out
to Me for help. "I have been knocking on the door of your
heart for 50 years!" I said. "Of course I will show you the
way home -- only believe Me now."
I was at the base of the building with the Priest ministering to
the injured and devastated souls. I took him home to tend
to his Flock in Heaven. He heard my voice and answered.
I was on all four of those planes, in every seat, with every
prayer. I was with the crew as they were overtaken. I was in
the very hearts of the believers there, comforting and assuring
them that their faith has saved them.
I was in Texas, Kansas, London. I was standing next to you when
you heard the terrible news. Did you sense Me?
I want you to know that I saw every face. I knew every name --
though not all know Me.
Some met Me for the first time on the 86th floor.
Some sought Me with their last breath. Some couldn't hear Me
calling to them through the smoke and flames; "Come to Me...
this way... take my hand." Some chose, for the final time,
to ignore Me. But, I was there.
I did not place you in the Tower that day. You may not know why,
but I do. However, if you were there in that explosive moment
in time, would you have reached for Me?
September 11, 2001, was not the end of the journey for you.
But someday your journey will end. And I will be there for
you as well. Seek Me now while I may be found.
Then, at any moment, you know you are "ready to go."
I will be in the stairwell of your final moments.
God OUR FATHER
Nation Of Survivors
In the bright September morning without warning to us all
A few thousand lives were shattered and we watched two buildings fall
And a billion souls felt empty, and the flags at half-mast fly
In the memory of the innocent which didn't have to die
We've lost brothers, sisters, cousins. We've lost family and friends
But we've made the choice not to forget their lives and tragic ends
Though we've had our share of troubles we have put them all aside
As a nation grieves we find ourselves defending them with pride
We're a nation of survivors, with one heart we share a tear
But we live to serve the memory, not giving in to fear.
Though they try to take security with the things they've done and said
All their acts of inhumanity bring unity instead.
So we stand here as a family. One heart, one soul, one voice.
We are challenged by this moment, and united here by choice.

Compassion Is Your Pain In My Heart.
A Fireman Hung Our American Flag On A Broken Pole;
To represent our country, and each American soul;
The smell, the smoke, the stench of dead;
The awful pictures in our heads;
What is the message you try to send?
Is it our spirit you try to bend?
To take our hopes, to take our dreams?
To hear our cries, to hear our screams?
In our land we hope with pride;
Our voices on the wind will ride;
This cloth we call our American Flag;
Is not a piece of some old rag;
It represents our peaceful land;
All kinds of races hand in hand;
All our differences laid aside;
To strengthen our Nation with love and pride;
For months the destruction you have sent;
Will hold images destroyed and bent;
You might become a front page story;
As we wave our flag, we call "Old Glory";
We are peaceful unless provoked;
Even when you prod and poke;
But when you bring destruction to our land;
Then yes! We'll link hand in hand!
Dedicated to all Americans... God Bless you...

Gound Zero - Ground Heros
A TRIBUTE TO EMERGENCY WORKERS:
Bodies so weary and wracked with pain,
Please don't give up yet, it's not in vain.
Searching for any who may yet survive.
Hoping for others who may still be alive.
Working long and tirelesslly with little relief,
No time to deal with yourr own sadness and grief.
Emergency workers who are on the scene first,
Doing your best but seeing the worst.
Responding to various calls of trouble,
Continuing your search beneath ash and rubble.
Risking your own lives without second thought.
Your kind of dedication is instilled....not taught!
More than a job, it's a "calling" to serve,
With little recognition you so deeply deserve.
Continuing to look for survivors and others.
Even more heartbreaking, some are your "brothers".
Both menand women so strong and brave,
sometimes injured or lost trying to save.
The strain and stress show on your faces.
We forget rescue on a daily basis.
But when your findings are dark and grim,
As hope and faith begin to dim,
And your own tired body you are ablel to rest,
Know as we all do, you've done more than your best.
We listen for your sirens; they always say:
"Hold on, we're coming; help is on the way"!
So don't be discouraged if you stumble and fall,
Our prayer forever will be "GOD BLESS YOU ALL!"
