My name is Nada Shami , and I am a born-again orthodox christian who attends St Joseph The Damascene Antiochian Orthodox Church, in New Westminster, BC.

Currently, I am working as a secondary school teacher in Canada.    My major is French Language and my minor is Biology.   God willing, I will always teach my students that intelligence is not measured by the grades they get in school but by the choices they make in life!   The best choice I ever made, and the most intelligent, was to accept and declare Jesus Christ as Lord of all and Master of my life.   He alone holds the key to my heart and He alone always will!



Originally, I am half Lebanese half Palestinian. However, I lived most of my childhood in Lebanon, where I experienced The Lord's true and faithful presence in my life. God willing, I shall visit Palestine one day and learn more about my other heritage.

 

During the war, He protected my family and I from death and injuries.   In school, He helped me minister to my friends about Him.   And in church, my love for Him grew stronger and stronger, as I stood in awe of Him!



Today, I live in Canada, where Jesus guided me a few years ago.   Here, my desire to serve Him has become greater.   Through the internet, I have discovered the ability to create and design homepages, one of the Lord's gifts to me.

My God and My Saviour, I cannot thank You enough for all You have done for me.   Your death on the cross, your forgiveness of my sins, and your protection in my life are only a few of the numerous undeserving gifts you have offered me.    I only pray and hope that I will always be a good and faithful servant in your eyes, for that is the biggest desire in my heart!
