1. Through our teachings so far, I think the major idea of this section would be that we are all blind in one way, shape or form. We are blind from our own actions, faith, and even the truth. Although this seems like a demanding thing to be able to recognize and change, Mr. Scuito has showed us the path to living an examined and truthful life.

2. A) I want to remember the idea that each person has their own bias perspective that can be different from everyone elses. The story "The Blind Men and the Elephant" reitterates this idea. In this short yet exquisite story, it showed me that it takes other peoples thoughts, ideas, and perspectives in order to fully understand the issue at hand. Knowing this, I can remember this, and respect other peoples opinions.

B) I also want to recall the Icarus and Daedelus story. It gave me the message to pay attention and not to have too much fun when things ned to be taken seriously. This especially drives home due to the fact that I drive, and this story closely parallels a driving experience. Without proper attention and precaution I could die. It makes me feel more cautios at the wheel. I will remember this so that I don't let my ignorance lead to my demise.

C) The last yet equally as important thing i want to remember would be Epistemology. Epistemology is the study of knowledge. Knowledge, in my opinion, is reasoning, questioning your society, and seeking the truth. Through sanil questions, Socratic studies, and philosophical information, i have begun to reason and not just think. Reasoning is deep and intellectual while thinking is just a mechanic response that has no substance to it other than a correct or incorrect answer. "The enexamined life is a life not worth living." -Socrates Examining your life is simply looking back at what you did and learning from it, to better your life and the lives of others. Fr. Hagan so ellegantly said, "The only duty in life is to seek the truth." This means that all we need to do is seek the truth,"The truth will set you free."

3. Do I seek the truth?
I would honestly say that I don't seek the truth. I usually assume the truth from people of authority, such as teachers, parents, and priests. I want to know the truth, but i don't know where to begin. I hope as the course goes on I can better understand my calling of truth, and to become a faithful guy.
