Marc Sheehan, Danny O'Donoghue, Paul Walker, and Terry Daly who make up the Irish group, mytown met each other at performing arts school. At the time, marc was teaching hip-hop dance at the school, and the other guys were taking the class. Living close to one another (they're all from Dublin) and sharing the same interests, they became fast friends and decided to form a group. They began rehearsing at a dance studio in 1996, where they came up with their name. The guys wanted something that would reflect where they came from. Since they lived in the inner city of Dublin where people are called "townies", they chose mytown. With an awesome mix of dance, pop, soul, and R&B on their self-titled album, mytown, there's no doubt they'll be invading your town really soon. Be sure to keep your ears open for "Lifetime Affair" and "Now That I Found You".
