OK, so maybe Kev didn't propose to me in the most romantic way, but it made me happy 'cause I had waited for over a year & it was so unexpected. Our house had just gotten broke into the night before, & I was feeling pretty bummed out. We were driving down the road talking about moving, & outta the blue he asked "So when are we getting married?" I was just like "Huh?" And that's when he asked me to marry him! I just said "Uh-huh", 'cause I was in such total shock. Suddenly, all the bad luck we were having didn't matter anymore - We were getting married!! Let the stress of wedding planning begin!

Kevin & I tied the knot 4 months later at Mecca Christian Church on April 17th, 1999. And of course it was an especially freezing 38 degrees & raining that day! The ceremony was no big thing, just a few close friends & family. It was your typical everything-is-going-wrong wedding, from discovering that my train was 7 sizes too big just 1 hour beforehand, to the groom party almost not making it. But like they say, no wedding is perfect, but they are all beautiful!! And the important thing was, we got married (and hopefully we'll stay that way!!) OK, enough talking, time for some pictures!!
