Sudak
You walk past Dusty and the grass becomes sparser, and the trees are brown and scruffy.
The sky shines bright blue above you. As you crane your neck to peer up, a white comet flashes by you, knocking you to your knees.
You swivil around, and see a white striped creature staring back at you. Your eyes walk up him. Golden hooves, then long, thin legs. It has green wings, and you can see blue spines on it's back. It head is much like a tigers, and he has a beautiful blue mane. Then it snorts, and bounces forward, startling you. It dances backward, laughing.
You look at the creature with the light dancing over it's back. You back away, almost thinking it was a mirage.
Then, it leaps forward and shies right in front of you. You fall down on your butt, and trying to scramble away. The creature begins to laugh.
"Did you see the look on your face! Ha! Traveller, you are too easily scared!" the creature says, bringing it's tiger head close to you. It blinks it's blue eyes at you, and grins.
You get up and brush yourself off, a bit annoyed at the creature. You wonder what it is...it has parts of dragon, horse and tiger in it...
"You're probably wondering what I am. Well, I'm a drigus. A mix of horse, dragon and tiger, and my name is Sudak," he says as he tosses his mane.
As you look at him, you see that he's well built, solid and has well toned muscles. You ask if he has a mate.
"Well, no...but Wyndstorm and I had an egg, and she hatched and grew! Her name is Mekali. If you take that path you will find her in one of her normal haunts."
"So...where is the mother?" You ask.
He turns his head towards a worn dirt path. "Follow that trail, it will take you to her."
You set off, and leave Sudak.
